An Ari Folman Film

————————————————-

I was really excited for this when I heard that Tomer Hanuka was going to be doing some of the art for the film. Hanuka’s style of illustration represents everything I love about comic book art.

Tomer also has a blog with his twin brother, Asaf, at Tropical Toxic.

Saturday, March 21st, 2009

Sweet Plantain is a string quartet that plays with improvisational flare, combining their knowledge of classical music with jazz and latin genres. Heard of this via my viola teacher who is a friend of one of the violinists, Romulo Benavides.

Home! Time for a post

On Saturday night we saw the all-eastern jazz ensemble perform. They were an amazing group! I was especially impressed with the bass player and the drummer. The Boston Brass played that night, as well. It was overall a great show!
