Pieces Froids

One of the pieces that defines why I love the piano. Pieces Froides is dark and contemplative, rising and falling with the ebb and flow of some kind of dream. It’s almost like you’re listening in on someone else’s thoughts without them realizing it.

Enough analysis. Listen to this as well-

This is not my favorite performance of the piece, but I could not keep my eyes off of the performer. She’s got an interesting elegance about her. I think I will do an ink drawing of this :)

Aw thanks Laura! :) Pieces Froides was exactly what you described… I enjoyed it a lot. I want to listen to instrumentals more, especially while working. It’s nice to hear a story in your head from instrumentals for there is no influence of lyrics.

If you like instrumentals, surely you would love Phillip Glass.
